Character Mastery For Faculty

To empower the faculty with the tools and mindset needed to lead with exemplary character, fostering a culture of trust and embodying the values of Superior framework for Character Mastery. We also aim to incorporate character-building elements into the academic curriculum, enhancing the educational experience for students and fostering a culture of ethics and integrity among the faculty.

The Maturity Model

It involves three interconnected circles: Ideology, Ultimate Purpose, and Ultimate Vision. Ideology includes beliefs and principles, Ultimate Purpose is the reason for our existence, and Ultimate Vision is a long-term picture of the future. Character traits, such as honesty and integrity, are intrinsic qualities, and competence involves knowledge and skills.

Developing character traits requires enhancing the core and providing relevant knowledge and skills. If the core isn’t used for character development, alternative methods like individual and social conditioning are less effective.

For instance, to instill integrity, reinforcing beliefs like trust in Allah, reliance on Him, understanding life’s temporary nature, and prioritizing success in the hereafter is crucial. Character traits often need simultaneous development, like strengthening integrity by also working on traits such as Taqwa, courage, and honesty.
